Summer Infant/Born Free - Pregnancy Pillow & Bottles

Hello, friends!

This past Friday (in the midst of a bit of home renovating - my last big project of refinishing the hardwood floors before baby), I received some products to test in the mail!

Summer Infant and Born Free sent me their pregnancy pillow and bottles!

Obviously, I can't try out the bottles  since my little one isn't here yet, but the pregnancy pillow the past few nights has been great! I chose the Damask pillow case, just  because I liked the pattern the most.

The pillow case was a bit tricky to get one (my husband had to help me), but it was definitely convenient to have ties instead of a zipper. In fact, I wish there were a few more of the ties just so that it was easier to get the cover on where the curves of the pillow were.

I've actually gotten more sleep with this pillow in the past few days too. My hips haven't hurt as much, which is a huge help at 39 weeks pregnant.

I'll add to this review once I've been using it for a full week, but so far, it's definitely great in my opinion!

**UPDATE**

The Born Free pregnancy pillow is the best! I used it up until I went into labor, and I can't wait to start using it once my little one gets bigger so she can sit in it.

The Born Free bottles have been a huge help. I had the hardest time breastfeeding at first, and was exclusively pumping for the first two weeks. After an appointment with a breastfeeding center, and a chat with a Le Leche League leader, my little girl finally latched, and she's been good to go!

The bottles have allowed my husband and others be able to help feed her, and to give me a break. While she prefers nursing, she will still take the bottle (she does fuss a little). We tried a Latch bottle, but she didn't like it at all! I actually ordered an extra set of these Born Free bottles!

They are super easy to put together, and to clean!

Review - Suzanne - Trusst Lingerie

I love this bra! One sentence isn't enough to sum up how great this bra is, but in all honesty, it's that good. While at Curvy Con earlier this month, as a platinum ticket holder, I was given a Trusst bra. With what I know now, I feel like that would've been enough to be the only incentive for being a platinum ticket holder. Suzanne ($88) Jessica ($98) Marjory ($82) I'm not sure about other women, but I have a hard time finding a bra that really supports me, and is also comfortable. With this Suzanne bra, I don't feel like I have to take it off the second I get home! I'm completely comfortable wearing it 12+ hours a day. On top of that, even after the 12 hours, it is still as supportive as when I first put it on! The straps don't dig in to my shoulders, the band fits comfortably, and the padding isn't overwhelming (Do you ever put on

Hello, hello! So while my personal blog may have been quiet for a year, I definitely wasn't just sitting on my hands (I have a kid, so we all know how busy life can get)! I was contributing to a local Big City Moms blog. I submitted posts twice a month on topics that were relevant to me or the season. I wanted to share some of the posts here though, so you could read about some of the things that were going on in my life. As a new mom, I was continually learning new things about myself, my husband, and our new way of life with a baby. Review - StorkSak Travel Duffle Bag

This is the weekend bag that tops all other weekend bags. I've used this bag on flights, train rides, and road trips, and I'm still amazed at how much I can fit into it. It keeps everything nice an organized too, which I  love! I was not able to fit it in the overhead bin on the airplane I was on (it was a smaller plane), but it fit perfectly under the seat in front of me. It fit great in the overhead storage on my Amtrak train as well. It is so versatile too. The hanging organizer was a lifesaver on my last trip to NYC. I was sharing a room with two other girls, and there wasn't a ton of counter space in the bathroom. I was able to hang the organizer on one of the towel racks to keep all my toiletries together and out of the way! You can tell right away that this duffle was made with quality and for durability. The leather trim accents are beautiful. StorkSak even included straps on outside of the bag to hold your jacket! They made sure to create a trave
