A New Love

I love, love. I understand what love means, how to walk in love, and how to speak lovingly.  When I met my husband, I learned about a new love. I have never loved someone so much before, and getting married "sealed" our love. My husband knows all there is about me, and loves me anyways. When my daughter was born almost 5 months ago, I learned about another love. [I really started learning about it the second I found out I was  pregnant]. The moment we heard her cry for the very first time, I'll never forget. This little person has completely changed our lives. I'm still awestruck that she is mine. She was part of me for 9 months. I felt her kicks, punches, and hiccups. I would daydream about what she might look like, and worry about things I had no control over. Love is one of those emotions that can take you on a roller coaster. It will make you cry tears of happiness, but also sadness. It can make you scream with joy, and in anger. It can make you sa

Timi & Leslie - Jessica 7-Piece Diaper Bag Set

Hi everyone! I feel like Mommy-hood makes you take unexpected breaks, but they are always needed! My little girl is growing like crazy, and I can't believe she's almost 4 months old! This review is for an amazing Timi & Leslie diaper bag! They sent me two bags to review, and this review is on the Jessica bag in Taupe ! I've been using this bag nonstop the last 4 months, and it honestly holds everything! There are a ton of pockets that keeps everything organized (which I need, and also my husband), but it's also so versatile! It has so many extras that make it stand out from just an ordinary diaper bag:  A cross body, adjustable detachable strap so you can wear it hands free whenever you need to;  Our specially designed changing pad with a front mesh pocket where you can store your diapers, wipes and creams when you need to make a quick diaper change trip;  A stylish clutch that you can use as your purse (who wants to carry a purse and a baby bag

4Moms - Mamaroo

Hello! I've had my eye on the MamaRoo since I found out I was pregnant. It was on our registry, but unfortunately we didn't receive it as a gift. While it looked amazing, we just couldn't justify spending over $200 on it.  At around 5 weeks old, our baby girl wasn't sleeping well at night, and we were willing to try anything! I found someone selling their MamaRoo for $100! It was a steal!  It was completely easy to set-up, and the controls are self-explanatory. The different movements and sounds give us a good variety too. My only complaints would be the fact that we can't dim the control screen. In the middle of the night, it's pretty bright and we usually have to put something on it to drown out the light. I would also love if the mobile would spin on its own. My baby loves when we make it spin!  Our baby girl only likes it some of the time, but she has definitely slept 3hrs in it before, and that in itself is worth every dollar! We are hoping

Fisher Price - Rock'n'Play

Hello, hello! Hope everyone is doing well! We have our Rock'n'Play in our living room. It's really convenient to be able to lay our little girl down whenever we need both hands. She sleeps in it occasionally, but that's with any chair, swing, etc.  It was really easy to put together! I had it done in less than 30 minutes. I followed the instructions exactly! I had one bout of confusion when trying to figure out which way the legs face, but it was easy to correct once I saw my error.  My two favorite things about the Rock'n'Play are 1) how easy it is to fold up and carry around and 2) how my baby essentially "rocks" herself because of the design. I only wish there was a way to have it rock automatically as well. There's been many times where my husband and I had to stay up rocking our baby girl just do that she'd stay asleep.  Overall, it's a great seat! Lightweight, easy to put together, and our baby girl likes it just

Baby K'Tan - Original

Hi all! I can't say enough about the Baby K'Tan! I was looking for a carrier, but couldn't decide on which one to get since there are so many out there! I visited A Mother's Boutique in Wexford, and Judy helped me with the Baby K'Tan. I was able to try it on, and get a feel for it before I invested in it.  I've watched videos, and have seen others use the Moby wrap, but I wanted something just a little easier that I could just throw on.  I bought the original in black in a size medium . The instructions were very easy to follow, and I was wearing my baby girl the next day.  As for my baby, She LOVES it! She calms down quickly, and always falls asleep. It's helped me get so many things done, and now I don't feel like I'm just sitting around the house.  As for washing, it's easy too! I've washed it once already, and the material is still just as strong.  I would definitely recommend the Baby K'Tan!  I'

Updates!

Hello! I took the month of July off to get acclimated to being a Mama - it's absolutely the hardest, and best experience ever! Our little one was born on July 1st, and we've been loving on her like crazy. July basically feels like one long day, and now that she's almost 7 weeks old, things are slowly getting easier. I'll do a post about being a Mom soon too, but I want to try to get updated on all the amazing products we've been using (especially the Baby K'Tan, it's been a huge help)! Here's a list of products that I'll be getting reviews up soon (hopefully this week!):  Timi & Leslie - Jessica and Classic tote bags (they sent me both to try out for you guys!)  4moms-  Mamaroo  Fisher Price - Rock n play Baby K'Tan Kickee Pants Kate Spade - Diaper Bag  Medela - Pump-In-Style Advance Lansinoh - Affinity Pro BumGenius - 4.0 and Elemental Diapers Can't wait to share my thoughts with you! Summer Infant/Born Free - Pregnancy Pillow & Bottles

Hello, friends! This past Friday (in the midst of a bit of home renovating - my last big project of refinishing the hardwood floors before baby), I received some products to test in the mail! Summer Infant and Born Free sent me their pregnancy pillow and bottles ! Obviously, I can't try out the bottles  since my little one isn't here yet, but the pregnancy pillow the past few nights has been great! I chose the Damask pillow case , just  because I liked the pattern the most. The pillow case was a bit tricky to get one (my husband had to help me), but it was definitely convenient to have ties instead of a zipper. In fact, I wish there were a few more of the ties just so that it was easier to get the cover on where the curves of the pillow were. I've actually gotten more sleep with this pillow in the past few days too. My hips haven't hurt as much, which is a huge help at 39 weeks pregnant. I'll add to this review once I've been usin

4moms - Spout Cover

I just got this in the mail! I can't wait to try it out soon. I'll update this post once I get it all set-up. **UPDATE** I love this product! I'm definitely one of those people that love super hot showers/baths, and when I think something is cold, others  might think it's hot. This temperature spout cover is a lifesaver! I don't have to worry about the water being too hot when I make my baby girl's bath. It's easy to install (and you only need a couple batteries), and crazy easy to understand. If the water is too hot, it start beeping loudly and the screen starts flashing red. The screens give you an exact reading of the temperature too. I know 4Moms makes an actual baby tub as well, but I opted for the spout because I had a baby tub already (I love hand-me-downs!). I highly recommend this product for all moms, but especially those of us that can handle heat a bit too well. :) Blue: When you first turn the unit on, and when the

Kickee Pants - Women's Nightgown

Since I'm still waiting to try out all my awesome baby products, I figured I do my first review on something that I won for a Mother's Day contest. The Kickee Pants solid ruffle nightgown in starfish . I'll be honest, I was completely pumped to win! KP allowed me to pick any item from their women's collection, and I opted for this bamboo nightgown. I was (at first) blown away by the price tag... $80! It fits really well though! Normally, I'm a L/XL, and so I got the L. I'm also 9 months pregnant, and it still fit great. I will definitely still be using this after my baby girl gets here. This is also my first 95% bamboo clothing item, and I can totally see the difference in material from just plain cotton. These hot flashes these past couple of weeks have been no joke, but this nightgown has been a lifesaver. I've washed it many times already, and it's still holding up great. This is definitely an investment piece to me (I normally don't

The first of many!

I'm so excited to start reviewing all the amazing baby products we've been blessed with! Our baby girl is due in just a few short weeks, so the reviews will definitely start picking up around then. I want to make sure that I really give each product a thorough try, and will provide a wholehearted honest review. I have items from 4moms, Summer Infant, Halo, Boppy, Kickee Pants, and the list goes on. Please let me know if there is a product that you are passionate about that you think I should try! All the best, Ru
